  • “My favourite hotel in Tashkent” Large and comfortable rooms. Very close to the airport (about 5 min) I love the restourant Sultan which is in the first floor of the hotel. There you can find very delicious food of domestic kitchen. Also there is a fitness club, sauna & turkish hamam.

  • “Excellent dacilities, excellent staff, excellent location” I unexpectedly found myself a guest of the Grand Mir hotel when my Airbnb host in Tashkent played a cruel trick and me and I was left stranded...I did not regret it! This is an excellent hotel in many regards. - Location: situated close to the centre of the town, the immediate vicinity is walk-able and close to many good shops, restaurants, and, of course, the Oybek Metro. I used the Metro a lot during my time in Tashkent, and this was very useful for me. - Amenities: the hotel is built on the old Soviet style, and this shows. Nevertheless, it is tastefully furnished and the amenities are decent compared to its peers in this part of the world. The hotel even includes a very nice outdoor swimming pool which is great for rest and relaxation. - Food: I found the food to be of a very good standard throughout my stay. - Staff: The staff were very professional and helpful, and were an added bonus.

  • “Very pleased with my stay” I have just returned home after staying for two weeks at the Grand Mir Hotel. My room was large and clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The staff were universally friendly, helpful and charming, from the young man who met me at the airport to the manager who remembered me from my previously (brief) visit. Breakfast was ample with plenty of choice and the evening meals that I ate in the hotel well-cooked and presented
